Bikers + Biscuits x Gravy (– Stress) = “FUN”
Bikers + Biscuits x Gravy (– Stress) = “FUN”
March 7, 2021 7:30 am - 12:00 pm
No matter how you work out the math, this ride solves for fun! This Sunday, Spike’s gonna take us out to one of our favorite breakfast haunts, the Horseshoe Café. This feisty little shop owner kept her Wickenburg restaurant open during the worst of COVID, with the help of some tremendous community support (both local and abroad). So, we want to show her our support by taking another breakfast ride her way. So come on out this early Sunday morning for a nice little breakfast ride out to Wickenburg (and for some of the best biscuits and gravy in the state).

Mikey “Speedbump” Buzenes loves nothing more than taking a big ride to explore new destinations. So, we’re heading southeast on this one as we make our way out through Superior and Globe to this Safford destination. This is a long ride, so plan to get back late afternoon or evening.

Which came first, the Squirrel or the Ostrich Egg?
Which came first, the Squirrel or the Ostrich Egg?
March 20, 2021 8:00 am - 3:00 pm
Wait, do squirrels lay eggs? We can ask Eddie “Squirrel” Galacci as he leads us on a picnic ride to the uniquely enjoyable Rooster Cogburn Ostrich Ranch. Open to the public since 1999, there originally just the ostrich to feed. Nowadays, however, there are lots of critters to feed! Joining the ostrich are Miniature Sicilian Donkeys, Nigerian Dwarf Goats, Fallow Deer, Peking Ducks, “The Goat Penthouse” and the “Hole in the Wall Gang” featuring Boer Goats, and the all-time favorite Rainbow Lorikeets. There is something for everyone at the Ostrich Ranch and more fun than you can imagine.
Admission is $12 to $15, depending on the package you choose-both include feed for the critters ($15 package includes feed for the stingrays)
This is a picnic ride, so be sure to pack a lunch (there is a large indoor picnic area at the Ranch with vending machines for snacks and drinks). That way we can take our time and enjoy everything the ranch has to offer.
Meets at QT (Cave Creek and Union Hills) @ 8:00am, KSU 8:30am

A Short Stop Sunday Picnic Ride
A Short Stop Sunday Picnic Ride
March 28, 2021 8:00 am - 3:00 pm
We are really digging these picnic rides and now that it’s warmed up a little, it’s time to take some more rides north. On this lunch ride, Tyrah “Shortstop” Lawson is taking us to Lynx Lake in the beautiful whispering pines of Prescott for some peaceful picnic goodness. This picturesque lake is the largest on the Prescott National Forest and it has a great beach and picnic area (so we have that going for us….which is nice). Knowing Short Stop, she’s likely taking the longer, fun way up to Prescott, so this should be a perfect Sunday ride you won’t want to miss!
Meets at the New River Shell station (I-17 & New River exit) @ 8:00am, KSU 8:30am
RC – Tyrah “Short Stop” Lawson
Approximate miles – 220 (round trip)
Ride difficulty – Medium (curvy roads and switchbacks)
